To be such a large city, you'll find it really very easy to find your way around in New York. The city is divided East and West by Fifth Avenue. You can also look up and use the skyscrapers to tell you if you are uptown or downtown. Top right you see Fifth Avenue with the Empire State Building in the distance.
Center right picture you see The W Union Square Hotel on Park Avenue. This lovely hotel is next to Union Square Park where you'll find a farmers market throughout the week.
Bottom right picture you see another look at Park Avenue. In the center of the street in the distance you see the Met Life Building which is located in Midtown.
