Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday November 16th 2001 "Tiffany why don't you just call the answering service so we can go to lunch," Starlene said impatiently as she stood in front of her sisters' desk. "Clark will be here any minute Starlene, just sit down," Tiffany said frowning. "Why don't we just meet at the restaurant?" Starlene asked as the front door opened and Clark walked in unbuttoning his coat and putting it on the coat rack. "Starlene I'm surprised to see you here," Clark said glancing towards the young woman seated beside her sister's desk. "Hi Clark. That was really a party last night wasn't it?" Starlene asked referring to the dinner party at Tavern on the Green Restaurant. "Yeah, it was great. I like Nicole, don't you?" Clark asked. "Well, she's okay I guess," Starlene said glancing towards Tiffany and looking down. "You don't like her?" Clark asked hearing the uncertainty in Starlene's voice as he walked across the living room to join the two sisters. "No. Not really." "Stanley seems to really care a lot about you Starlene," Clark said sensing her jealously. "I just don't like her that's all," Starlene admitted. "She's going to pose for Playbody, did you hear?" Clark asked. "Yes. Of course I heard. Everyone's heard about it. She was all over that TV gossip show last night," Starlene said trying to sound unaffected. "Did they ask her about her job with Amir and Stanley?" Clark asked. "Yeah and she acted sooo…. I don't know. I just can't stand her," Starlene said. "She's getting a lot of publicity out of this," Clark said envious of the freebies Stanley and Amir were getting for their business. "I'm not so sure Amir knows about this though," Tiffany said wondering if her lover would be upset to learn his new secretary had signed on to model for a full page in Playbody. "They wanted Tiffany to pose," Clark said. "I know," Starlene said. "They wanted her because she's Amir's girlfriend and all the men had been writing in wanting to see my sister," she said glancing proudly towards her sister. "But then when Tiffany wouldn't do it they decided on that little floozy from Florida," Starlene said not being able to contain her envy. "Tiffany. I think you should give it a second thought," Clark said. "You know the photography is very high quality," he added. "I don't think so," Tiffany said hoping he would drop the subject. "Well then I want to do the job," Starlene said sick of her sister's stupidity. "That's a great idea," Clark said. "I don't think so," Tiffany said frowning at Clark. "Why not?" Clark asked. "Because it's not the right thing," Tiffany said. "Well, I'm going to call Stanley right now and make him help me get the job," Starlene said as the front door of the townhouse opened and Stanley walked in. "Stanley," Clark said walking towards the front door extending his hand to his wealthy older client. "Hello Clark good to see you again," Stanley said shaking Clark's hand. "Stanley, how did you know I was here?" Starlene said assuming her older lover had stopped by to see her. "I didn't know you were here honey. I stopped by to drop off this check," he said taking an envelope from his inside pocket of his coat and handing it to Clark. "Thanks Stanley." "Stanley, did you talk to Charles Lewis about the modeling job for me," Starlene asked walking to her lover's side and offering her cheek. "Yes and he says he'll use you honey," Stanley said smiling as Starlene's eyes widened in excitement. "Come on I'll take you ladies to lunch," Stanley said seeing the disappointment and shock on Tiffany's face. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
