Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Thursday November 15th 2001 "Wow Tiffany, what do you think?" Starlene asked her sister as she turned on the light in the hallway of their apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "About the party?" Tiffany asked closing the front door and locking it. "No. You know Tiffany... The modeling job?" Starlene asked smiling broadly. "Of course, I'm not going to do it," Tiffany said taking off her coat and hanging it on the coat rack by the door then turning to walk towards the living room. Starlene took off her coat and immediately felt a chill in the apartment in the low cut cocktail dress she had worn to the party at Tavern on the Green tonight. She followed her older sister into the living room watching her take off the jacket to her business suit and put it on the back of the chair. She watched as Tiffany sat down on the sofa kicking off her shoes. How did her sister manage to get such a prestigious modeling offer dressed like that, she wondered glancing down at her own voluptuous cleavage in the low cut cocktail dress she was wearing. "You know those jobs pay a lot of money Tiffany?" "Yes I know Starlene." "I think Clark liked the idea of you doing it too," Starlene said. "I noticed that too. Clark just loves free publicity. His business picked up with the first picture in the newspaper linking me to Amir," Tiffany said thinking about her handsome lover. "So are you going to do it or not?" "No." "Are you sure?" "Yes." "Then I think they should let me do it." "Starlene you know perfectly well you can't do that." "Why not, I'm nineteen now. I'm old enough to know what I want to do." "You know that Daddy would kill you and he'd kill me for letting you," Tiffany said picking up the remote for the TV and turning it on. "Well, if I can get Stanley to talk Charles into it I will do it." "Starlene, they didn't choose you they chose Nicole," Tiffany said thoughtfully. "I guess you think I'm jealous?" Starlene said angrily. "No. I'm just saying that the publisher has already asked Nicole." "I don't like her Tiffany," Starlene said remembering how she caught her older lover with his hand on the young girl's hips when he thought no one was watching. "Yeah me neither. I don't like it one bit that she'll be working in the same office with Amir," Tiffany said pained remembering that she'd caught Amir's eyes on the front of Nicole's low cut dress. "That dress was cut all the way to her waist. When she moved the fabric would turn and give everybody a good look at what little she has," Starlene said furious that her dress had only merely pushed up her cleavage. "You noticed too huh," Tiffany said realizing everyone probably did. She quickly decided that Amir's attention was just human nature. "Look Starlene," Tiffany said urgently turning up the volume on the TV as her eyes fixed on the screen. Starlene quickly took a seat beside her on the sofa. "We're here outside of the "World Connection Club" tonight with Nicole," the announcer said. The camera turned towards the young beauty as she walked to the entrance of the Upper West Side Nightclub. The camera zoomed in quickly on the front of the dress. The fabric moved slightly on Nicole's dress and the announcer knew his ratings on the evening news were going up. "Hi," the young girl said breathlessly as a handsome chiseled face young man stood beside her at the door of the nightclub. "Nicole you told us earlier that you've been asked to model for Playbody soon," the announcer said as the cameraman adeptly tilted the camera on the dress. "Yes," she said smiling broadly. "You also recently landed a great job too. Tell us about it." "Yeah I work for the two greatest guys… Stanley Morgan and Amir Hada." "What will you be doing besides making the office look great," the reporter said smiling as he felt his face flush. "I'll be working closely with Amir on fulfilling his building promises to the City," she said as she and her date walked into the club, the camera following her every movement. CONTINUED TOMORROW.
