Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday November 13th 2001 "I'm sorry my daughter Jan couldn't make it this evening," Stanley said shaking Charles Lewis' hand. They walked out of Tavern on the Green Restaurant and stood in the lobby waiting for the other guests to meet them before leaving the party. "I was really looking forward to meeting her. Are you sure you aren't hiding her from me Stan?" the well-dressed publisher of Playbody Magazine asked laughing. "No. No. She called and said she was at a friend's house over on Bleecker Street and couldn't get here tonight," Stanley said turning as he watched Tiffany walk towards them. "Maybe she's finally found herself a husband Stanley," Charles said knowing Stanley wanted very much for his daughter to marry. "Well, I doubt that. I told her to bring this guy to dinner but she said it didn't suit," Stanley said smiling as he watched Tiffany join them. "Tiffany are you sure you wouldn't be interested in a modeling career?" Charles asked intrigued by the conservative business suit she had worn to the dinner party. "No. I don't think so," Tiffany said laughing as if he were surely kidding. "Hi Stanley, there you are," Tiffany's sister Starlene said walking from the ladies room towards them. The men turned their attention to the voluptuous young blonde in the low cut dress. When she saw Charles turn to look her way she smiled broadly as she walked to Stanley's side. "You act as if I'm joking," Charles said glancing towards Tiffany. "Yes," Tiffany said looking down shyly. "I'm not kidding. There's good money in modeling for Playbody," he said remembering the photos of Tiffany on the front page of the newspaper as Amir and her had been caught kissing on his veranda. The picture had caused an international scandal that he wouldn't soon forget. "I'm really not a model," Tiffany said. "I am," Starlene said putting her hand on her hip in the low cut black cocktail dress. "Are you?" Charles asked grinning at the familiar response he got from young women. "Yeah," she said. "Where have you modeled?" Charles asked. "Different places, magazines. Like huh... That picture of me in the Park Avenue Women's Society thing that they took at the party. Right Stanley?" Starlene said. "Starlene really wants to pose for you one day," Stanley said. "I know you do Starlene. Stanley gave me your number and I'll keep it for the next opening." "When will that be?" "Well we need a different look right now. We have to alternate looks each month. It might be a little while," Charles said. "Why would you want Tiffany then?" Starlene asked trying hard not to let her resentment show. "I mean Tiffany and I look a lot alike, we're sisters." "You're right, but we've had readers write in and ask when we would do a spread with Tiffany after that picture the detective took," Charles said watching Tiffany look down at her high heels. "That doesn't seem fair," Starlene said. "Starlene Daddy would kill either one of us if we pose for Playbody," Tiffany said. "What about you Nicole…do you think your Father will mind?" Charles asked smiling as the new secretary walked towards them. "No, not at all. I just called him in Florida. The family is looking forward to my new position as a model," Nicole said taking Charles' arm as she watched his eyes feast on the front of the cocktail dress that was cut all the way to her waist.
