"Manhattan Party Planning", Tiffany said quickly into the phone as she watched Stanley and her boss Clark take a seat on the sofa in the living room of the townhouse.
"Tiffany I'm so mad," Starlene said into the phone as soon as she heard her sister answer.
"Why?"
"Stanley still hasn't called me."
"I know."
"Have you talked to him?"
"Here now," Tiffany whispered into the phone.
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Let me speak to him," Starlene said.
"He's talking to Clark," Tiffany whispered.  She watched in relief as the two men started up the stairs towards Clark's office.
"I don't understand why he didn't call me last night.  He always does."
"He and Clark just walked up the stairs," Tiffany said in a normal tone of voice.
"What did he say?"
"He said to tell you he'd call you later."
"Later?  That's just great now he just relays messages to my sister that he'll call,"
"I guess.'
"What's he doing there now?"
"He stopped by to see Clark."
"Oh."
"I think I'll come over there while he's there."
"No Starlene don't do that."
"Why?"
"Because we're all going to lunch."
"Who's going to lunch?"
"We're all meeting the new girl he hired," Tiffany said wishing she didn't have to be the one to break this news to her younger sister.
"Great!  Now he hires a new girl and doesn't tell me about this either."
"Starlene you don't work with Stanley you can't expect him to tell you that kind of thing."
"Whose side are you on?"
"Yours of course. Look Amir didn't know anything about this new girl either."
"Then this must have been Stanley's idea."
"I think so."
"When is she coming over there?"
"I don't know. I don't know if we're meeting her at a restaurant or if she's coming by here."
"I'm coming over there now."
"No. Starlene you'll get me in trouble at my job."
"Okay, but I want you to tell me the truth.  I want to know exactly what she looks like and how he acts around her."
"Sure."
"Tiffany," Clark's voice said loudly over the intercom on her desk.
She quickly hit the button of the intercom.
"Yes Clark," she said into the intercom as she held the phone on her shoulder.
"We've got reservations at Arqua in twenty minutes to meet the new girl for lunch. Call my two thirty appointment with my insurance broker and tell him to come in at three," Clark said thinking this would be a long lunch today.
"Sure," Tiffany said.
"I heard that!  He's got a lot of nerve," Starlene said into the phone.
