Greenwich Village has been a favorite to many famous people over the years including F. Scott Fitzgerald and Edgar Allen Poe. The tree lined streets of Greenwich Village are lined with Federal and Greek Revival town houses. Here you'll see some of the most famous coffee shops and clubs in New York City.
Top right picture you see Caffe Reggio at 119 MacDougal Street in Greenwich Village. This famous coffee house, which is New York's oldest, hasn't changed much since it opened in 1927. A seat outside on a nice day is prime NYC real estate.
Center right picture you see a long shot of MacDougal Street. You'll find little bars and clubs tucked away at street level. You'll pass by jewelry stores, delis and music stores. Of course the restaurants in the village are some of the most famous in New York City.
Bottom right picture you see a Middle Eastern Restaurant, Kabab House on MacDougal Street. You'll notice the American Flag proudly displayed.
