Chinatown seems to be everyone's favorite area of New York City, and maybe even more these days. The terrorist attacks of September 11th were in clear view of the Chinese Americans of Chinatown. For many days after the attack Canal Street was closed meaning the merchants of Chinatown lost a lot of business. Today if you walk through Chinatown you can see very clearly their support of the USA.
Top right you see the large American flag that has been painted on the side of a building in the center of Canal Street.
Center right picture you see Charles Schwab located in a building with pretty Chinese architecture. Charles Schwab had a branch in the World Trade Center which was destroyed making this branch in Chinatown the closest for Soho-Chinatown-Village customers.
Bottom right picture you see a distant shot of Canal Street. In the far distance, but not seen, is the Holland Tunnel that only recently reopened to incoming traffic.
