Many of the streets where New Yorkers are used to shopping, working or where they lived have been closed. Replaced by the shoppers are tanks, police, FBI, Army National Guard and volunteers. Of course the Fire Fighters have lead the way in the rescue and have come from many areas of this country and Canada.
