Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday September 3rd 2001 Tiffany opened the door of her apartment and turned on the light in the hallway. Stanley walked in behind her leaving his wet umbrella outside the door and closing the apartment door behind them. "Thanks for bringing me home Stanley," Tiffany said standing in front of him in the entrance hallway hoping he would leave immediately. If it hadn't been for the heavy storm she wouldn't have allowed the wealthy older man to take her home. Her sister Starlene had insisted. "Aren't you going to invite me in?" "Stanley…I don't think…" "I need to talk to you. It won't take but a minute." "Okay, come in," she said walking down the hallway towards the living room as he followed her. She walked to the lamp beside the sofa and turned it on before taking a seat on the sofa. "That was a nice party Clark gave tonight," he said taking a seat beside her. "I'm surprised you came to the party. I know you don't really like the media." "I came for you." "Me?" "Yeah. I knew you needed the support. I knew if I went they would leave you alone somewhat." "Yeah. That worked for the most part. I only had to talk to them for a few minutes about my relationship with Amir." "And now Starlene will get her chance to be interviewed," he said referring to his lover and her younger sister that they left behind to be interviewed by the London Link Television Network. "If that reporter ever gets back from the airport tonight in this storm." "It'll take a while. Do you have anything to drink?" "What would you like?" "Do you have any wine?" "Yes." "I'll get it," he said. "You don't know where it is," she said starting to get up. "I know this apartment well my dear," he said getting up from the sofa and walking towards the kitchen leaving her on the sofa watching him. "You came here to see Starlene while I was working didn't you?" she asked. "Many times," he said walking into the familiar kitchen out of her view taking a bottle of wine from the cabinet. He opened the drawer and took out the corkscrew for the bottle. He opened the cabinet and took out two glasses and poured wine into both of them. "I was as shocked as everyone else when I found out you were seeing my sister Starlene. But I'm getting used to it now. I know she really loves you Stanley," Tiffany said watching him walk back into the living room carrying the glasses of wine. "There," he said handing her a glass. "Thanks." "To us," he said raising the glass to touch hers after taking a seat beside her on the sofa. "To you and Starlene," she corrected him. "How about to the three of us," he said laughing and taking a sip of his wine. He glanced at her voluptuous cleavage in the damp low cut cocktail dress as she sipped her wine. He placed his wine glass on the coffee table. He leaned back on the sofa edging closer as he slid his arm onto the back of the sofa next to her. He touched her long blonde hair with his fingers and felt intoxicated by the smell of her perfume. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
