Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday August 14th 2001
The driver opened the door to the limo and Starlene slid into the back of the long white car.
"Excuse me is Stanley Morgan in the car?" the reporter for the London Link Television Network asked the driver.
"No comment," the driver said walking to his side of the car and getting inside quickly closing the door behind him.
"Take us straight to the restaurant," Stanley said watching Starlene cross her long legs in the short sundress.
"Did you see me on TV?" she asked noticing that Stanley was turning off the TV as she got into the back of the car.
"Yes I saw that," Stanley said.  He had watched the entire scene unfold as the reporter had waited outside of Tiffany's apartment hoping to interview her about her picture being in the newspaper with Amir.  Starlene had walked out and the reporter recognized her and immediately began asking her questions.
"You're not mad at me are you Stanley?" Starlene asked knowing that her remark about his daughter Jan's being jealous would probably cause him a lot of trouble.
"You should just leave Jan out of this Starlene," Stanley said turning to look out of the window.
"You are mad at me aren't you Stanley?"
"Starlene you can't tell everything that goes on," he said glancing towards her and noticing her voluptuous cleavage in the low cut red sundress.
"Well Tiffany's so upset Stanley. Clark told her that if she doesn't give an interview and get him publicity for his business then he might fire her for being involved with Amir."
"Is that right?"
"Yeah.  It's not fair.  Tiffany doesn't want to do anything to hurt Amir's chances of becoming mayor."
"How long has Tiffany really been involved with Amir?" Stanley asked.  He had tried unsuccessfully to seduce Tiffany many times before her young sister moved to New York.
"I think she's been seeing him almost since the first day she went to work for Clark."
"She never told me that," he said wondering how Amir had managed to score with her first.
"She couldn't because Clark would fire her.  Then she had Skeeter to worry about too," Starlene said referring to her sister's estranged husband that was now secretly seeing Stanley's daughter Jan.
"Is Tiffany seeing her husband Skeeter too?"
"No. But she still cares."
"How do you know that?"
"I can just tell.  She was really interested in how he got invited to the party at Gracie Mansion a few weeks ago and who he was with."
"How did he get invited and who was he with?" Stanley asked.  He had noticed that Skeeter already knew his daughter Jan. However, he couldn't figure out the relationship since Skeeter seemed to be spending a lot of time with the wealthy Elizabeth Ford.
"Gosh Stanley, how would I know?  Do you think I know everything?"
"You seem to."
"Maybe Skeeter was invited by another woman or something."
"What woman?"
"I told you Stanley I don't know.  Why do you care?"
"Your sister just has a lot more going on than I ever imagined," he said.
"What did you think of that picture in the newspaper of her with Amir?"
"Sleazy of the newspapers to publish that," he said remembering the photo. The front-page photo showed Tiffany and Amir kissing on his veranda. Her sundress had fallen open around her waist revealing her bare chest with only a blurry spot imposed to cover her bosom.
"You thought the photo looked sleazy or the newspaper was sleazy for publishing it?"
"The newspaper was wrong to publish it. I'd like to see the original photo," he said glancing towards Starlene's cleavage in the sundress and realizing she and her sister were about the same size.
