Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday August 10th 2001
Starlene zipped the low cut red sundress.  She glanced at her reflection in the mirror and thought her wealthy older lover Stanley would probably like the dress she had bought with his money earlier today.  She heard the water turn on in the shower down the hall and shook her head as she thought about her older sister Tiffany's situation.  Tiffany seemed more inclined to refuse to talk to the media about her affair with the mayoral candidate Amir Hada even if the interview would save her job.  Tiffany's boss had been overwhelmed with phone calls about the picture of Tiffany and Amir on the front page of the newspaper.  A detective had caught them on Amir's veranda late at night.  Tiffany's sundress had fallen open as they kissed revealing her bare bosom.  Since that picture Tiffany's boss had decided this could be the publicity he needed to pump up his sagging party planning business.
The buzzer in the living room overlooking Washington Square Park sounded and Starlene quickly walked into the living room and picked up the intercom for the lobby downstairs.
"Yes," she answered.
"Mr. Morgan's car is here," the doorman said.
"Tell his driver I'll be right there," Starlene said in her southern accent.
"I'm leaving Tiffany," Starlene yelled out so her sister could hear her over the water in the shower.
"Have fun Starlene," Tiffany said as she rinsed the conditioner from her long blonde hair.
"You going out tonight?" Starlene asked as she picked up her purse from the chair.
"What?" Tiffany called out.
"Nothing, see ya," Starlene said walking to the front door and walking out into the hall.  She quickly hit the button for the elevator and closed the front door to the apartment locking it.
She glanced at her reflection in the mirror in the hall making a last check of her long blonde hair. Her eyes moved to her new dress as she quickly decided that this was probably the lowest cut dress she had worn yet.  She knew Stanley would like the fact her voluptuous bosom was pushed up revealing her suntanned cleavage.  She was also relieved that Tiffany had been in the shower when she left.  Her sister was so conservative, she thought. The elevator door opened and she stepped inside and the door closed leaving her alone with an older woman that lived in the building that was dressed in a long dress and sandals.
"Hi," Starlene said smiling. She watched the woman's eyes glance her over as she turned to head to avoid making eye contact.
"Hot isn't it?" Starlene said noticing the long skirt.
"I should think you won't suffer from the heat," the woman said stepping off the elevator quickly when the door opened.
"Have a good evening and keep cool," Starlene said watching the woman walk quickly to the front door and take one of the doormen by the arm whispering into his ear as she turned back to look at Starlene.
"Good evening," the other doorman said as Starlene walked towards the door.
"Evening," Starlene said smiling as she walked slowly her hips swaying in the short dress.
The doorman quickly opened the door and Starlene walked out into the hot afternoon sunshine across from Washington Square Park.
"Starlene!" a young man said rushing towards her as a cameraman followed him.
The limo driver stood at the curb beside the long white car.  Stanley waited in the air conditioning behind the tinted windows watching his young lover in the red low cut sundress.
"Starlene! I'm with the "London Link," the reporter said rushing towards her breathlessly.
"Wow, you're all the way from London?" Starlene asked in her southern accent.
"Yes.  Is your sister Tiffany coming down?"
"No. She's in the shower."
"Could you answer a few questions for us?" the reporter asked as the cameraman focused on Starlene's bosom in the low cut dress.
