Clark said he would fire Tiffany for secretly seeing his client, the mayoral candidate Amir. She was pictured on the front page of the newspaper kissing Amir in a very risqué position.

Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday August 8th 2001 Tiffany opened the door to the townhouse where she worked near Washington Square Park and walked in expecting to see her boss downstairs waiting. "Is that you Tiffany?" he called out from upstairs. "Yeah." "I'll be down in a minute." "Okay," she called out noticing that the television near her desk was on, but the volume was turned down. She walked to her desk and pulled out her chair taking a seat. She heard the sounds of Clark's footsteps as he came down the stairs into the living room. "Mornin'," he said walking towards the sofa and taking a seat. "Mornin'," she said awkwardly. He had called her at home and told her to come in and they would discuss her position in his company after the media blitz showed a photo of her on Amir's veranda. The front page picture of her and Amir was bad enough but the fact that her sundress was unbuttoned and the media had blurred out her bare bosom was the most embarrassing thing that had ever happened to her. "Tiffany why don't you come over here and we'll talk," Clark said feeling her desk was too far away for a personal conversation. He watched as she slowly got up and walked to the chair nearby taking a seat and adjusting her short skirt. "I guess this is it…huh Clark," she said fully expecting that he would give her a final check this morning. "Well, you know business has been slow." "Yeah and Jan hates me." "Jan is angry." "I understand Clark," she said looking down when she saw his eyes glance at her sweater. She knew he must be thinking about the picture in the newspaper and felt he could see through her white cotton sweater. "Tiffany this might not be as bad for my business as I had originally thought," he said. "Good," she mumbled. "I mean I've gotten a few calls from the media." "I'm sorry." "No. I mean maybe we can turn this into something that helps my business," he said hesitantly. "What do you mean?" she asked studying his face. "I mean this could be free advertising for me." "How can it help you?" "I've gotten a few calls from newspapers and magazines this morning and they would like to interview you. They want to know more about the woman that Amir is involved with," he said watching her closely. "What do they want to know?" "They want more pictures and they want to know how you met Amir and stuff like that," he said. "But this is probably hurting Amir's chances of becoming Mayor," she said confused. "The fact is that Jan and Stanley haven't asked me to arrange any parties for Amir lately. The last one they gave at Gracie Mansion they used another party planner. If I'm not going to be getting the business, then I need the publicity to get new customers." "I don't get it." "You could be interviewed here at my townhouse and talk about your job. You could say this is where you met Amir. Tell them about the great clients we've done parties for…you know…give them what they want and make my business look good." "But it might further hurt Amir's chances of becoming Mayor." "You do need a job don't you?" CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
