Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday August 7th 2001 Tiffany sat on her sofa in her apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "Tiffany aren't you going to get dressed for work?" her younger sister Starlene asked walking into the living room yawning. She noticed that it was getting late in the morning and Tiffany was still wearing her pajamas. "I don't know what to do Starlene," Tiffany said taking a sip of her coffee and watching as Starlene walked to the sofa taking a seat beside her as she pulled down the long Charlie's Angels tee-shirt she was wearing. "Well, didn't he tell you to call before you come to work this morning?" Starlene asked. "Yeah." "Did you call him?" "No." "Well, call him," Starlene said. "I don't know…. I don't know what to do. I'm not sure I can go in there and face him again after what's happened." "Oh, call him. It's not that bad. Maybe he's over it now and you still have your job." "I doubt it. I mean Jan was there and she was furious over the picture of Amir and I." "She's just jealous that Amir is in love with you. She wishes she had him." "That's probably true but I think she's got my husband now," Tiffany said taking another sip of her coffee. "Do you care?" "Sure I care. It makes me so mad that she's probably seeing Skeeter just to get even with me." "I doubt that there's much to it," Starlene said not wanting to ever tell her sister that Skeeter had confided in her that he was romantically involved with the wealthy Jan Morgan. "You saw them at the party at Gracie Mansion. Was Skeeter with her or not Starlene?" "He talked to her, but I told you he seemed to spend more time with that rich woman Elizabeth Ford." "Oh, I guess there isn't much I can do about that and I do have more problems now," Tiffany said picking up the tabloid newspaper on the coffee table and looking at the front page picture of her and Amir on his veranda as they kissed passionately. She quickly glanced at her white sundress that was unbuttoned revealing her bare chest covered only by a blurry spot super-imposed by the newspaper. "It's too bad they put that blurry spot over you," Starlene said. "Starlene that's a horrible thing to say, I would really be shamed out of town if they hadn't." "You would have been offered money if they hadn't." "I hope I never need the money that bad." "Call him Tiffany and see if you have your job," Starlene said. "Starlene you might have to get a job if I've lost mine," Tiffany said. "I hope it won't get that bad," Starlene said. The phone on the table next to Starlene rang. "Get that Starlene," Tiffany said nervously. "Hello," Starlene answered. "Starlene, hello it's Clark. Is Tiffany there?" "Can you hold on a minute and I'll check Clark," Starlene said putting her hand over the phone. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE SOAP PHOTOS BELOW.
