Bologna has starred in great plays over the years and so has Taylor. It begins with their wedding reception at the Merv Griffin show and goes on from there.

One Intermission. Cole Porter and Samuel and Bella Spewack's classic musical depicting backstage biting during an out of town tryout for a tuner based on The Taming of the Shrew. Starring Carolee Carmello & Burke Moses; Janine La Manna, Michael Berresse, Directed by Michael Blakemore. Choreographed by Kathleen Marshall. First showing since the original 1948 production. Year 2000 TONY Award for Best Musical Revival.

Geffen cast album. Musical adaptation of Victor Hugo novel about persecuted Jean Valjean. 12th year running. J. Mark McVey is current Valjean, Javert is Gregg Edelman & Fantine is played by Jane Bodle.
The Lion King Opened November 13th 1997 New Amsterdam Theatre, 214 W. 42nd. St. Between 7th and 8th Ave. (307-4100). $25-$90. Wed-Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; Sun 1-6:30 PM. 2 hrs. 45 min. One intermission. Director Julie Taymor. Disney's new theater. Adaptation from animated screen. Cast of 46 sings the Elton John - Tim Rice score. Simba the lion cub destined to become king. Garth Fagan - Choreographer.
Major Barbara Opened July 12th 2001 American Airlines Theatre, 227 West 42nd Street between Broadway & 8th Ave. (212-719-1300); Major Barbara, a play by George Bernard Shaw about an arms dealer and a family with a discussion of ideas, features Dana Ivey, Cherry Jones ( A Moon for the Misbegotten), David Warner, David Lansbury, Dennis O'Hare and Zak Orth. It is directed by Daniel Sullivan ( who was the 2001 TONY Winner Best Director of a Play, "Proof", which also won 2001 TONY Award for Best Play ). Settings: John Lee Beatty; Costumes: Jane Greenwood; Lighting: Brian MacDevitt; It is scheduled to run until September 2nd, 2001.
