Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday June 26th 2001 "Mornin' Starlene," Tiffany said as the door to her apartment closed. She watched as her younger sister walked in the entrance hall of the apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. She noticed that Starlene was still dressed in the evening gown from the party last night at Gracie Mansion. "Hey, Tiffany," Starlene said in her southern accent. She yawned as she threw her purse on the table at the entrance hall and walked towards the sofa where Tiffany was seated. "How was the party? Did you stay with Stanley last night?" Tiffany asked still trying to get used to the idea of her younger sister being the lover to a wealthy older man. "Yeah, the party was great Tiffany. I wish you could have been there." Starlene said taking a seat on the sofa beside Tiffany as she kicked off her high heels. "Was Amir with anyone?" Tiffany asked still upset that she couldn't be with her secret lover at the party. His plans for running for mayor and his comatose wife had made it nearly impossible to see him now. "Not that I know of," Starlene said trying to remember all of the events of the evening. "Well he was or he wasn't," Tiffany said annoyed as she watched Starlene yank the low cut dress up to cover her voluptuous bosom. "No. No. He wasn't with anyone. He got called away from the party, something about his wife," Starlene said putting her feet up on the coffee table. "What? What happened?" Tiffany asked feeling guilty for secretly hoping Amir's comatose wife had died. "I don't really know Tiffany." "Well who else was there, what happened?" "Oh! Oh my God," Starlene said as her eyes widened as her memory was awakened. "What?" "Skeeter was there," Starlene said slapping her thigh. "No." "Yep, sure enough was," Starlene said. "Who was he with?" Tiffany asked as her eyes narrowed. She had suspected Stanley's daughter Jan was having an affair with her estranged husband Skeeter for some time now. "I don't know." "Come on, who did you see him talking to? … Jan?" Tiffany asked growing impatient with her sister. "He did talk to Jan, yeah," "Do you think he was with her?" "I saw him with another woman too though," Starlene said. "Who?" "Some Elizabeth woman." "What was she like?" "Richest woman I've ever seen." "Why do you say that?" "You should have seen the diamond on her neck. It was a rock. It made Jan's necklace look like street jewelry." "Skeeter was with a rich woman?" "Well, he talked to her a lot." "Who did he leave with?" "He left with Elizabeth and…. I think I saw Jan leaving with them too." "I guess he's in heaven," Tiffany said biting her bottom lip. "Guess what?" Starlene asked excitedly. "What?" Tiffany asked deep in thought. "I was photographed to be in a women's magazine," she said remembering with pride that the photographer had focused most of his attention on her last night. "That's nice," Tiffany said still thinking about Skeeter and the rich woman. "It's the Park Avenue Women's Magazine," Starlene said smiling broadly. "That's nice. Was there any other media there?" "Well, yeah the television crews were outside when everyone left." "Then it will be on 'Go Gossip'," Tiffany said hoping to see the event on the television gossip show today. "I'm still mad at Stanley over that. We had to stay inside so long because he had to talk to the Mayor. The TV crew didn't get me in but one little shot when we were leaving." "Maybe it will be on now," Tiffany said noticing it was already after noon. "I do hope you managed to keep the straps on that dress in the right place," Tiffany asked noticing that the thin straps on Starlene's evening gown barely covered her heavy bosom. She picked up the remote to the TV and hit the "on" button. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
