Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Monday June 18th 2001 Stanley walked quickly away from the group gathered around Amir. He and the Mayor are giving Amir a high profile party at Gracie Mansion to show their support and provide a photo op for the wealthy foreigner at the mansion that he hoped to occupy if he won the race for mayor in the fall. He quickly spotted the former socialite Elizabeth Ford, that he had spent a few intimate evenings with a few years ago. Elizabeth was standing near his daughter Jan, his current lover - the 19 year old Starlene, and a strange handsome man. Curious what Elizabeth might be saying to Starlene, he picked up his pace towards the group gathered near the window overlooking the East River. "Elizabeth. I've wondered why you don't attend more of the mayor's parties?" Stanley asked smiling as he approached the wealthy socialite. "Because Stanley darling, I usually come to visit the Mayor privately," Elizabeth said kissing him quickly on the cheek. "I'd like to introduce you to my daughter Jan," Stanley said. "We've met Father," Jan said. "Elizabeth did you meet my friend Starlene?" Stanley asked as the young voluptuous blonde took his arm. "We just met," Starlene said in her thick southern accent as she noticed the smirk on Elizabeth's face when she nodded at Stanley. "I don't believe we've met," Stanley said glancing towards Skeeter. "I'm Skeeter," he said in his slow southern accent extending his hand to the older well-dressed man. "Skeeter? I've heard that name before," Stanley said. "Skeeter's my ex-brother-in-law," Starlene said. "So you're Tiffany's husband?" Stanley asked. "Ex …Father, Ex husband," Jan said. "You know Skeeter?" Stanley asked surprised glancing towards his daughter. "We've met Father," Jan said smiling warmly at Skeeter. "Nice to meet you Skeeter," Stanley said. "Ladies please we want to take a photo of all of the women attending the party this evening," a photographer said walking towards the group. "Who is this photo for?" Jan asked deciding immediately to refuse his request. "It's for the Park Avenue Women's Magazine," the photographer said stiffly. "Oh," Jan said following Elizabeth as she started to walk in the direction of the photographer. "I'll be right back Stanley honey," Starlene said in her thick southern accent touching her older lover on the arm. "You aren't a member of any of the women's clubs," Jan snapped. "Stanley?" Starlene said turning to look at her older lover for support. "Starlene is my guest, she should be in the photo Jan," Stanley said. "Do you have a wrap or something you could wear," Jan asked Starlene glancing at the low cut red dress. "No, it's hot why should I wear a "wrap"?' "Put her in the back," Jan whispered to the photographer as the women followed him towards the other side of the room. Skeeter and Stanley watched as Starlene turned waving to them. The thin straps on her low cut red gown barely covered her bulging young bosom as she turned. "Enjoy yourself honey," Stanley said as he watched her hips sway. Her long blonde hair brushed her shoulders as she walked to the front of the group of women and stood posing. "She's a knock out," Stanley said smiling proudly as he and Skeeter stood together watching the other women glance angrily towards Starlene as the photographer took photos. "She's one in a million," Skeeter said watching the older man's proud expression as he watched his young lover. "Yes she is. Are you and Starlene still friends since you and Tiffany divorced?" Stanley asked turning to face Skeeter. This would be a great opportunity to get to know this slow talking southerner that had been suspected of shooting Amir's bodyguard a year ago.
