Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday June 6th 2001 "It's so nice to meet ya," Starlene said in her southern accent as the handsome Sheik kissed her hand. His harem watched nearby in the living room of the Mayor's residence at Gracie Mansion. The politicians and celebrity guests watched Starlene in her long red evening dress with a low-cut top that barely covered her voluptuous bosom. "I better get over there and protect my interest," Stanley said smiling as he left the mayor's side and walked towards his nineteen year old blonde lover. "Hi Stanley," Starlene said as her older wealthy lover approached her. "Wow! You look like a million dollars tonight," he said kissing her on the cheek. "You like this?" she said smiling and turning around to show him the low cut back of her long red evening dress as the guests whispered. "I love it, especially the front," he said as she turned around putting her hand on her hip and laughing. "You don't think it's too revealing do you?" she asked as he feasted his eyes on her bulging voluptuous bosom covered by the thin red straps. "I'm not running for office, so the less the better," he said whispering in her ear. "Where's Amir?" she asked glancing around the room. "He's over there," Stanley said nodding towards the other side of the living room as Amir and the Governor were being interviewed by a television reporter. "Why don't we go over there and get on camera?" Starlene said wondering if she should apply more lip-gloss before being interviewed. "We will soon. We need to give Amir some airtime. Once they see you in that dress they'll forget why they came," Stanley said watching the straps move slightly as she turned to take a drink from the tray as the waiter stopped in front of her. "She has her drink, thank you," Stanley said noticing that the waiter hadn't moved since he saw Starlene. "Who's that?" Starlene asked as a man rushed towards Amir and interrupted the television interview. "I don't know. Excuse me honey, I'll go see what's going on," Stanley said seeing the concern on Amir's face. "Sure you go ahead Stanley, I'll talk to this nice man," Starlene said as the sheik started to walk towards her, his harem following close behind. "Hi I'm Starlene, where ya' from?" she asked the sheik in her thick southern accent as he walked towards her; his eyes on the red straps of her gown. Stanley rushed towards Amir when he saw Amir leave the group of men and start towards the front door. Stanley quickly picked up his pace and followed Amir towards the entrance hall of the mansion. "Amir!" Stanley called out. "I leave party," Amir said in his broken English as he motioned for the doorman. "What's the matter? All of the heavies are here. You can't leave now," Stanley said. "Hospital call… my wife," Amir said nervously. "Oh, I'm sorry Amir. Is it serious?" Stanley asked hoping that perhaps she had passed on. "They only say I come now," Amir said. "Tell them you'll come tomorrow. This is a big party, you can't leave now," Stanley said. "They tell me as television reporter interview me," Amir said. "Oh. Then I guess you're right. You better go or they will have it all over the news tomorrow that you left her in the hospital when she needed you," Stanley said shaking his head at the poor timing of this news. "Yes. This I think," Amir said walking out of the front door. Stanley stood in the doorway watching as Amir slid into the back of the waiting limousine. The driver closed the door on the passenger side and quickly walked to the driver's side. The driver got into the car closing the door and starting the engine. The car pulled out into the traffic on East End Avenue and 88th Street as another long white limo pulled into the driveway and stopped in front of the door. Stanley paused perplexed at who was making a late entrance to such an important party. All of the invited guests were inside watching his young lover Starlene. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
