Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Friday June 1st 2001 The candle flickered in the dark living room of Jan's Upper East Side mansion. "Want to go to the other room?" she asked in a whisper as Skeeter tugged on her skirt and kissed her passionately on the neck. "No." he said not wasting a moment. "You've missed me haven't you Skeeter?" she whispered as her body arched towards his touch. "Yeah Baby." "You sure you haven't been with any other women?" she asked wondering why he hadn't been with her for a week. "No," he lied pushing her back on the sofa. "I've missed you Skeeter," she moaned. "Skeeter did you hear someone at the door?" "No." The doorbell sounded quickly in three short rings. "Oh...no," he said under his breath as he continued to kiss her neck. "I have to get that." "Just ignore it maybe they'll go away Baby," he said as his hands continue to roam. Jan pushed herself up on one elbow and looked towards the door. "Skeeter get up. The curtains are open. Whoever is out there can see in," she said in a whisper. Skeeter quickly got up off of the sofa and tucked his shirt in his pants and picked up his shoes. "Just go in the bedroom," Jan whispered pointing down the hallway. "Get rid of them Baby," he said walking quickly down the hallway and opening the familiar bedroom door as he held his shoes in his other hand. Jan quickly zipped her skirt and adjusted her low cut sweater. She pushed the cushion back on to the sofa and started towards the front door glancing through the window hoping to see who had dropped by unannounced this late in the evening. "Who is it?" she called out at her front door. "Me." She opened the front door to her Father. "Father what are you doing here?" "Just wanted to come by and talk to you." "Now?" "When am I supposed to talk to you. The party is tomorrow night," he said walking into the living room and glancing around. "This side of town having a black out?" he asked noticing the flickering candles. "Father I'm expecting someone," "A date?" "Yes Father," she said turning on the lamp beside the sofa. "Well, this won't take long. I just want us to get some things straight," he said taking a seat on the sofa and noticing the low cut sweater his daughter was wearing. "I think we've already discussed everything. You know how I feel about you dating that little southern gold digger," Jan said referring to her father's nineteen year old lover and Skeeter's estranged sister in law. "I don't want you causing Tiffany anymore problems. She's a nice girl. I've always admired her and this relationship I have with her sister hasn't changed my feeling towards Tiffany in the least," he said pouring himself a drink from the decanter on the coffee table in front of him. Skeeter opened the bedroom door a little further and saw Jan staring straight towards him as he took a step into the hallway. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
