"Who were you talking to?"  Skeeter asked in his slow southern accent as he watched Jan quickly hang up the phone in her Upper East Side Mansion as soon as he arrived.  She brushed his attempted embrace aside as she walked towards the sofa and took a seat.
"Father," she answered not smiling.  She picked up the decanter of vodka and poured herself a drink.
"What's the matter? You and your Daddy fightin'?" Skeeter asked noticing that she seemed more agitated than usual.
"Not seeing eye to eye on anything lately," she said downing the glass of vodka and pouring another drink.
"What's the matter Baby," he said taking a seat on the sofa beside her as he noticed the candles lit and the low cut sweater she was wearing.
"I'm furious with him for seeing that little gold digger," she said motioning towards the decanter as he reached over and poured himself a drink.
"You mean Starlene?" he asked referring to his nineteen year old estranged sister in law."
"Who else do you think I mean?  Of course Starlene," she snapped.
"Well, how would I know.  You see him on TV with Playbody models and everything else," Skeeter said taking a sip of his drink and watching her reaction to his carefully planned words.
"I'm sick of him making a fool of me."
"Did you tell him that?"
"Of course I told him."
"What about the party at Gracie Mansion?" he asked hoping she would take him.
"What about it?  See what I mean?  Everyone in the world knows about the party at Gracie Mansion. He's not handling the affairs properly.  The media shouldn't have leaked that so quickly. He had the nerve to tell me he was taking care of this party because he didn't think I had control of the arrangements," she said placing her glass on the table too hard.
"Maybe you need to change the way you approach the old man," Skeeter said putting his arm around her and pulling her closer to him.
"Maybe," she said.
"Did you miss me Baby?" he asked kissing her on the neck as his lips settled on her earlobes.
"Yeah.  Where have you been Skeeter?" she asked feeling her body weaken at his touch and his breath on her neck.
"Working a lot," he lied.
"You haven't been with any other woman?"
"No Baby.  I've been saving myself for you," he lied running his finger over her thigh in the short skirt."
"You want dinner?"
"No, let's go straight for dessert," he said pulling her closer.
"Sounds good to me," she said breathlessly.
"Listen Baby.  You going to take me with you to the party at Gracie Mansion," Skeeter whispered as he fumbled to unbutton her skirt."
"Why do you want to go to that party so much?  Is it because you think Tiffany will be there with Amir?" she said pushing him away slightly.
"No.  Cause I know Starlene really well," he said referring to the nineteen year old that her Father was seeing.  "I could help you out Baby," Skeeter said pulling her towards him.
"Really?"
"Yeah.  I don't need to see Tiffany.  It's been over with us for a long time.  Your old man will have his girlfriend there.  Seems fitting to me that you take your man.  I mean why not? Ain't it time you show the old man you have someone too" he asked as he finished unzipping her skirt and started to pull at the fabric.
