Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday May 29th 2001 Jan took two glasses and placed them on the coffee table. "You sure you no need me this evening," her housekeeper Ilona said in her broken English as she walked towards the front door of the Upper East Side mansion. "No. Thanks Ilona," Jan said smiling. "Mister Skeeter come over, no?" the housekeeper asked noticing the extremely low cut sweater and the smell of heavy perfume her employer was wearing. "Yes, he'll be here any minute," Jan said lighting a candle on the coffee table. "Enjoy evening. I see you tomorrow morning," Ilona said opening the door. "Oh. Come in late. I'm sure Skeeter and I will sleep in," Jan said looking forward to her evening at home with her lover. "Yes, Miss Morgan," the housekeeper said closing the door. The telephone rang and Jan blew out the long match and walked towards the ringing phone. "Hello," she answered. "Hi Jan." "Hi Father," she said feeling her body immediately become tense with anger. "You still angry?" Stanley asked knowing full well his daughter wasn't going to get over him seeing the voluptuous nineteen year old Starlene anytime soon. "Have you broken off your relationship with that money hungry girl?" "No." "Then I'm still angry Father. Until you come to your senses and quit making a fool of yourself in the media I'll stay angry." "Jan I don't tell you who to see or what to do. I'm not entirely happy over you not being married and having children by now either," Stanley said. "I'm happy with my life," she lied. "I didn't call to discuss my personal life with my daughter." "Then why did you call Father?" "To tell you that I've taken care of the arrangements for Amir's party at Gracie Mansion and I'm not using Clark's party planning service. "Oh, really." "Yes." "Why? If you don't mind me asking?" "Clark expressed some difficulty handling your feelings over my relationship with Starlene and having her sister Tiffany working for him." "That's why I think Tiffany should have been fired long ago." "I don't think there's any reason for Tiffany to be fired. What I do in my personal life has nothing to do with Tiffany or Clark or anyone else for that matter." "So he complained about me?" "No. I wouldn't say that," he lied. "It's just too complicated to have Clark's business involved with this. I'm just telling you so that you won't talk to Clark anymore about this event. I've handled everything." "Amir hired me to handle these things," she said wondering what the wealthy foreigner that she worked for would think of her Father taking over these duties. "It's a mess and I took care of it." "I can handle my own job Father. I don't need you taking care of my relationship with Amir," she said loudly pausing when she heard a knock on the front door of her mansion. "Now you see how I feel when you try to run my life. I'll take care of my relationship with Starlene and the media," he said. "I have to go I have a guest." "Don't cause problems for Tiffany," Stanley said. "Hay Baby didn't you hear me at the door?" Skeeter asked loudly opening the door and walking into her living room. "Who's that?" Stanley asked hearing a man's voice in the background as Tiffany's estranged husband grabbed her around the waist and started kissing her on the neck. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
