Stuyvesant Square Park was a gift to the city of New York by Peter Stuyvesant. It was a residential quarter in the 19C. Today the park is a square cut in two by Second Avenue. It is surrounded by hospitals in an area known as Stuyvesant town.

Top right picture you see St. George's Episcopal Church. St. George is a Romanesque brownstone built in 1856 and was known as "Morgan's Church" because the elder J. P. Morgan was a parishioner here.
