Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday May 15^th 2001
"Go ahead and call her now," Clark said taking a seat at Tiffany's desk waiting for her to call her younger sister Starlene.  He picked up the newspaper from her desk with the front page picture of Tiffany's sister Starlene photographed with his client the older, wealthy Stanley Morgan.
Tiffany picked up the phone on her desk and dialed the number to her apartment overlooking Washington Square Park.  She glanced up and saw her boss Clark shaking his head in disgust at the picture of the voluptuous Starlene with Jan Morgan's father getting into a limo in Times Square.  Jan had just left the office furious after demanding that Clark fire Tiffany for her sister's personal affairs. 
"Hello," Starlene answered.
"Starlene.  Have you seen the newspaper today?"
"Oh God!  Can you believe this?  I was on TV and now I'm in the newspaper!  Did you see it?" Starlene asked breathless with joy.
"Yeah it was on my desk when I came in this morning."
"This is IT Tiffany. Did you see how they called me an actress and model?" she said referring to the two titles she had always dreamed of and never held.
"Yeah.  Look Starlene…we've got to talk about this."
"You're upset over what they said about Amir and this hurting his chances to become Mayor, right?"
"That isn't helpful," Tiffany said glancing towards Clark and wishing he would go upstairs to his office so that she could talk more freely about her relationship with his client and her secret lover Amir.
"It won't hurt Amir's chances, that's bull.  It's going to help everyone… all of this great publicity.  I just know I'll get a role or a job modeling."
"You need to deny that you're involved with Stanley Morgan."
"What are you crazy?"
"No. Jan came by the office this morning and she's so angry.  This is not good Starlene."
"She's a snake.  She can't tell her Father who he can see."
"You're too young for him anyway Starlene."
"I am not.  I'm a full-grown woman.  He's always liked younger women.  Look at Laney. You liked Laney.  You were friends with her," Starlene said referring to Stanley's former Playbody model girlfriend that had moved to California to become a movie star.
"You're not Laney, you're my baby sister.  It's different."
"I'm Stanley's girlfriend."
"You haven't been seeing him have you?" she asked hoping this relationship hadn't gone any further than a dinner date.
"Yeah."
"Starlene, I've asked you about this before," Tiffany said trying to keep her voice a whisper so that perhaps Clark wouldn't pay any attention to the conversation.
"It's my affair.  Stanley and I are in love."
"What?  You mean…what do you mean?" Tiffany asked surprised.
"It's true.  Stanley's in love with me."
"Starlene.  I can't continue to discuss this now, but you have to keep this relationship with Stanley on a friendship level," Tiffany said noticing that Clark had placed the newspaper back on her desk and was now watching her.
"It's too late.  I'm in love with him."
"It's not too late.  Just keep this to yourself, okay?"
"It's too late for that too."
"What do you mean?"
"I've got an appointment to meet with 'Go Gossip' today," Starlene said.
"What?  Starlene please, I could lose my job over this.  This could cost Amir the run for Mayor," Tiffany pleaded looking up at the concern clearly written on Clarks' face.
