Dance play of 3 sexual fantasies.  Choreographed and Directed by Susan Stroman; First, "Swinging", A romance in 18th Century France involving a servant, an Aristocrat and a girl on a swing - "Did You Move", An unhappy Queens woman in the 1950's who dances to Puccini and Tchaikovsky for pleasure. - Finally, "Contact", an executive falls for a girl at a dance club.
Winner of 4 2000 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Design For Living
Opened March 15th 2001
American Airlines Theatre, 227 West 42nd Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue. (212-719-1300). $40 - $65; Tue- Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; Sun 2 PM. Some scheduling variables, call first. A three way comedy by Noel Coward about decadent artists arriving in Paris, London and New York.  Starring Alan Cumming, Jennifer Ehle and Dominic West. Joe Mantello directs.  Originally a 1932 play.

The Dinner Party
Opened October 19th 2000
Music Box Theatre, 239 W. 45th Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue. (212-239-6200).  $20 - $65; Tue- Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; Sun 3 PM. Situated in a Paris restaurant this Neil Simon play is starring Henry Winkler, remember "The Fonz" and John Ritter - "Three's Company". Neil Simon's new comedy is of love, marriage and divorce. Len Cariou, Veanne Cox, Penny Fuller and Jan Maxwell also star. Costumes by Jane Greenwood; Sound by Jon Gottlieb; Lighting Brian MacDevitt. Directed by John Rando.

Follies
Opened April 5th 2001
Belasco Theatre, 111 W. 44th St. Between Broadway and 8th Ave. (212-239-6200, 1-800-432-7250). $40 - $90. Tue - Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; through September 30th 2001. The 1971 show, originally at the Winter Garden, returns with a cast starring Blythe Danner, Judith Ivey, Treat Williams and Gregory Harrison. Book: James Goldman; Director: Matthew Warchus (True West); Music and Lyrics: Stephen Sondheim; Choreography: Kathleen Marshall (Kiss Me, Kate);  On the eve of the demolition of the Weisman Theatre, a gathering of stars holds a reunion party. Featuring: Polly Bergen, Marge Champion, Betty Garrett, Joan Roberts, Donald Saddler, Jane White, Carol Woods and Louis Zorich.

Fosse Opened January 14th, 1999
Broadhurst Theatre, 235 W. 44th St. Between Broadway and 8th Ave. (212-239-6200). $35 - $85. Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat 8 PM; Sat 2 PM; Sun 2 & 7 PM. 2 hours 30 min. One intermission. The late Bob Fosse's choreography of song and dance. Directed by Ann Reinking and Richard Maltby Jr. 1999 Tony Winner. Gwen Verdon is artistic adviser.

The Full Monty Opened October 26th 2000
Eugene O'Neill Theatre, 230 West 49th St. Between Broadway and 8th Ave. (212-239-6200) $30 - $85. Tue - Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; Sun 3 PM; 2 hrs 30 min; A musical comedy based upon the 1997 movie where a group of construction workers from Buffalo, not England as in the movie, whoop it up and sing and dance naked. Directed by Jack O'Brien, written by Terrence McNally and music and lyrics by David Yazbek.

The Gathering Opened April 24th through July 1st
Cort Theatre, 138 W. 48th St. between 6th and 7th Ave. 212-239-6200. $30 - 65 . Tue - Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM Sun 3 PM. Hal Linden (of "Barney Miller" fame and other great roles) stars in this drama by Arje Shaw. This play takes place in the living room of a survivor of the Holocaust. The family tries to identify themselves as Americans. Directed by Rebecca Taylor; with Sam Guncler, Deirdre Lovejoy, Adam Rose and Coleman Zeigen.

George Gershwin Alone Opened: April 30 through - July 22 2001
Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 W. 44th St. between Broadway and 8th Ave. 212-239-6200. $65 . Tue - Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM Sun 3 PM. Hershey Felder wrote and stars in this production that tells the life of George Gershwin - who lived until 38. It begins with "Swanee" as well as other great tunes such as "Embraceable You", "An American in Paris", "Bess You is My Woman Now", "Someone to Watch Over Me" and ends with "Rhapsody in Blue". This "Play with Music" is directed by Joel  Zwick. Music by George Gershwin; Lyrics by Ira Gershwin.
