Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Wednesday March 21st 2001 "Hi Tiffany, how was the evening with Amir?" Starlene asked as she heard her sister come in the front door of the apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. "It was okay. How was the party at the China Room Club?" Tiffany asked taking off her coat and throwing it over the chair as she walked into the living room. She noticed that her younger sister Starlene was still in her pajamas. "You saw that on TV?" Starlene asked excited. "Yeah I saw it on the late news last night at Amir's," Tiffany said taking a seat on the sofa beside her sister. "Wow! I hope everybody in New York saw me on TV. Do you think I looked good?" "Yeah, you looked great Starlene." "Do you think any big casting people will call me or anything?" "I don't know. Listen Starlene, I saw that Skeeter was there and so was Jan. Where they together?" Tiffany asked. "No. Jan was with Steve that rich guy that's giving the money to the Mayor for the libraries and Skeeter was there with some red head named Cynthia." "Who were you with?" "I just went over there because Phil, the cameraman that was working at the Waldorf, told me that the "Pistols" might show up. I wasn't with anybody really." "I'm really wondering about Skeeter and Jan. I thought he might be seeing her. Now I don't know anymore," Tiffany said kicking off her shoes and putting her feet up on the coffee table. "I'm telling you he seemed to be there with this redhead." "Did you see Skeeter and Jan together at any time?" Tiffany asked still uncertain of Jan and Skeeter's relationship. "They danced once," Starlene confessed. "I wish I knew what Skeeter was up too," Tiffany said thoughtfully. "How was the evening with Amir? What about that designer Celinda and Amir?" Starlene asked referring to the fashion designer that Amir had been seen with on television previously. "It was okay. We had drinks together at Amir's house. Then Amir had his chauffeur drive Celinda to her hotel." "How did she treat you?" Starlene asked remembering how jealous her sister had been over the thin wealthy designer. "She was nice Starlene. I didn't really sense that she's after Amir. She has a wealthy lover in Spain. I think it's only a professional relationship with Amir. It does make me very nervous though," Tiffany said. "Why? If you think she isn't chasing Amir?" "Because this is the kind of thing that's going to be happening all the time I'm afraid. Amir's a nice looking wealthy man. I worry about the next fashion designer that wants to move her store into his spa. What if the next one doesn't have a boyfriend?" "Don't you trust Amir?" "Yes but I don't trust other women." "Tiffany, quick turn on the TV. It's time for "Go Gossip", maybe I'll be on TV!" Starlene said when she heard the clock on the mantle chime. Tiffany quickly picked up the remote from the coffee table and hit "on". "The news of the celebrity party last night was supposed to be the headlines about the money being raised for the new libraries the Mayor plans to open, however…. raising eyebrows was this little Georgia peach," the reporter said smiling. "That's me! That's me!" Starlene said pounding her bare feet on the hardwood floor in excitement as she watched the screen change from the ballroom and the musicians to a tape of her standing between the Mayor and Stanley Morgan. "Who is this little number?" the co-anchor asked as Starlene held her breath and Tiffany hit the "volume up" button quickly. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
