One of the greatest things about New York City is that you don't have to have a car! You especially don't want to drive a car when you visit Chinatown. For a $1.50 we can ride the subway to Chinatown and never worry about parking or traffic.
Top left picture you see one of the subway stations at Chinatown. From the moment you get off the subway you are in a sea of people.
Top right picture you see Broadway and Canal Street. As you can see traffic is a nightmare, that's why most New Yorkers don't own cars. The subways are much faster and less expensive for transportation.
