Soap Opera "As The Mouse Moves" - Tuesday February 13th 2001 Starlene glanced in the mirror and checked her lip-gloss quickly before walking towards the door of her older sister's apartment overlooking Washington Square Park. She pulled the front door open and smiled broadly at the older wealthy man. "Well, you look better every time I see you", Stanley Morgan said walking into the living room as she closed the door behind him. "I brought us something to drink," he said putting the bottle of champagne on the coffee table. "Why don't you get us a couple of glasses honey," he said watching her walk towards the kitchen in her tight jeans and sweater. He opened the bottle of champagne as she walked back in with two glasses and took a seat on the sofa. "Did you call Tiffany's office?" she asked wondering if he had called her sister's boss Clark as he had suggested he would. She had been reluctant to allow him to come over because she was worried that working only a few blocks away Tiffany might come home early and catch him in the apartment with her. Stanley had said he would call Clark and be sure Tiffany was kept busy all afternoon. "No. She won't come home," he said pouring the champagne into the glasses and handing her one as he took a seat beside her on the sofa. "I thought you said you would call her Clark and be sure he kept her busy," Starlene said starting to worry that her older sister would come home at any moment. "Don't tell me you're like your sister, worrying all the time," he said as his eyes feasted on her cleavage in the low cut sweater. "I'm nothing like Tiffany," she said remembering the day she had come by Tiffany's office and saw him trying to kiss her sister. She knew Tiffany only tolerated the wealthy older man. "Good. Drink up honey. To close new friends," he said raising his glass to toast. "I'll drink to that," she said touching his glass with hers and taking a long sip before placing her glass on the table. "Here have another drink," he said pouring champagne into her glass. "You aren't trying to get me drunk, are you?" she said starting to feel warm all over. "I wouldn't think of it. You certainly are a beautiful woman Starlene," he said picking up her full glass and handing it to her. "You think I'm as pretty as Laney?" she asked thinking about his model girlfriend that left yesterday for California to pose in Playbody and star in a movie. "Better looking. It's all natural with you right?" he asked admiring her voluptuous cleavage. "Yeah," she said proudly putting her arm on the back of the sofa and leaning back as if to pose. "Fantastic," he said watching her as if his eyes had X-ray vision on her tight low cut sweater. "Thanks." "Do you think you can help me get a job modeling like you did for Laney?" she asked. "We'll see." "Who should I call?" "Oh. I'll talk to some people for you." "When?" she asked reaching for her champagne glass and taking another long sip. "Soon. Next time I see the editor of Playbody," he said watching her place the glass back on the table. "We can talk about that later," he said pushing her back on the sofa as his lips met hers.
