Friday February 9th 2001 Stanley and Clark sat at the dining room table in the back of Arqua Restaurant waiting for the waiter to bring Stanley the receipt. "You know Stanley, there's a lot of resemblance between Laney and Tiffany's sister Starlene," Clark said watching the two women talking as they walked together towards the front of the restaurant to wait for them. "Yeah. You're right. It's as if Tiffany's sister Starlene is a younger southern version of Laney," Stanley said watching Starlene's hips move as she walked in the tight black leather pants. He watched her turn to face Laney and his pulse quickened at the sight of her ample young figure in the tiny sequined halter-top. "Are you going to help her get started like you did for Laney?" Clark asked wondering if the older man would help her get a modeling job in Playbody as he did for his young girlfriend Laney. "Probably. I can tell Tiffany isn't crazy about the idea though," Stanley said watching Laney in her short tight cocktail dress as she leaned towards Tiffany to whisper something in her ear. "Your receipt sir," the waiter said handing Stanley a piece of paper. "Thank you," he said folding the receipt and putting it in his pocket. "Nice little affair," Jan said walking back to the table after her quick trip to the ladies room. "Thanks for coming", Stanley said kissing his daughter on the cheek admiring the new Chanel suit she was wearing tonight. "I wish Amir could have come too. Tell him I'll start working on the plans for his party tomorrow," Clark said. "Oh sure. I'm sorry he couldn't make it too. I'll be talking with him later this evening and I'll tell him," she said hoping to keep up the pretense that she and her wealthy boss Amir were lovers for her Father's benefit. "It was a great party Stanley," Clark said patting the older man on the back as the three of them walked towards the front of the restaurant where the women waited in front of the door. They all put on their coats and walked outside onto the sidewalk into the cold evening air. "I don't see any cabs coming. They all seem to be in front of the Tribeca Grand Hotel," Clark said looking up the street. "Tiffany is that where Amir got you the room?" Starlene asked remembering that Tiffany had told her she lived in the hotel after Skeeter had moved into her apartment on Bleecker Street making it impossible for her to stay there. "I stayed there a few nights, but Amir didn't have anything to do with it Starlene," Tiffany lied as her heart started to race thinking that Clark would surely fire her if he knew his client had paid for her hotel room. "Too many of those drinks, I guess," Starlene said in her southern accent laughing nervously. Tiffany had made her promise several times earlier not to let anything slip tonight in front of Clark about her involvement with Amir. "I don't think you ever had a martini before tonight have you Starlene?" Tiffany asked hoping to cover the blunder. "No I haven't." "Stanley! You shouldn't have ordered her martinis. He did the same thing to me when we first met," Laney said remembering her first night with her older lover. A long white limo pulled up and the driver got out and opened the door for Stanley and Laney. Everyone waved goodbye as Laney slid into the back seat of the car and Stanley slid in beside her. The driver closed the door and walked to his side of the car getting in and closing the door. The long limo quickly pulled out into the evening traffic. "There's a cab," Clark said holding out his hand as a taxi came to a quick stop beside him. "Want me to give you a ride home?" he asked Starlene, Jan and Tiffany. "No. There's my car," Jan said as another long limo pulled up to the curb. They watched as the driver got out of the limousine and walked to the back of the car and waited by the door. "Good night Jan," Clark said as they watched her walk towards the limo. "The usual Bleecker Street apartment tonight," Jan told the driver turning quickly to be sure Tiffany had heard the directions she had given the driver. Tiffany watched Jan get into the long white car. Her heart raced when she saw a silhouette of a man in the back of the limo that looked a lot like her estranged husband Skeeter. She took a couple steps towards the limo. CONTINUED MONDAY. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
