A Christmas Carol - closed the 31st of December 2000 The Theater at Madison Square Garden, 2 Pennsylvania Plaza, Seventh Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets. (212-307-4111) $29 - $90. Schedules vary, call ahead. This production runs from Friday, November 24th - December 31st, 2000. A holiday tradition now for 7 years with a rather large production, as is the theater, will entertain families again this year with quite some big names behind it such as lyricist Lynn Ahrens, and the designers William Ivey Long and Tony Walton, who also work on the "Seussical". Frank Langella stars as the Scrooge. Susan Stroman is the choreographer.

Dance play of 3 sexual fantasies. Choreographed and Directed by Susan Stroman; First, "Swinging", A romance in 18th Century France involving a servant, an Aristocrat and a girl on a swing - "Did You Move", An unhappy Queens woman in the 1950's who dances to Puccini and Tchaikovsky for pleasure. - Finally, "Contact", an executive falls for a girl at a dance club. Winner of 4 2000 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Critically acclaimed in London, this new play on Broadway, "Copenhagen" stars Blair Brown, Philip Bosco and Michael Cumpsty. A noted German physicist and his Danish Colleague, Neils Bohr and Bohr's wife are the subjects of this fiction concerning a factual, covert meeting these nuclear scientists shared during the beginning of World War II. Follows Werner Heisenberg's trail from Berlin to Nazi-controlled Copenhagen. Produced by Nederlander.org. Written by Michael Frayn; directed by Michael Blakemore. Winner 3 2000 Tony awards including Best Play.

Situated in a Paris restaurant this Neil Simon play is starring Henry Winkler, remember "The Fonz" and John Ritter - "Three's Company". Neil Simon's new comedy is of love, marriage and divorce. Len Cariou, Veanne Cox, Penny Fuller and Jan Maxwell also star. Costumes by Jane Greenwood; Sound by Jon Gottlieb; Lighting Brian MacDevitt. Directed by John Rando.
Dirty Blonde Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th St. between Broadway and 8th Ave. (212-239-6200). $55 - $60; Tue- Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; Sun 3 PM. 1 Hour 45 min; No Intermission; This new play by Claudia Shear, who plays Mae West, stirs a romance between a couple of single New Yorkers. It is starring Robert Stillman and Tim Riis Farrell, under the wonderful direction of James Lapin. Originally of the Off Broadway New York Theatre Workshop.

The Full Monty Eugene O'Neill Theatre, 230 West 49th St. Between Broadway and 8th Ave. (212-239-6200) $30 - $85. Tue - Sat 8 PM; Wed, Sat 2 PM; A musical comedy based upon the 1997 movie where a group of construction workers from Buffalo, not England as in the movie, whoop it up and sing and dance naked. Directed by Jack O'Brien, written by Terrence McNally and music and lyrics by David Yazbek.
