Monday December 4th 2000 "How do you like the stroganoff?" Jan asked. "It's great Baby, just great," Skeeter said in his slow southern accent scraping his fork across the empty plate. "I gave Ilona the night off," she said referring to her housekeeper as she poured more wine into both of their glasses. "Why?" he asked as he rubbed his face briskly with the linen napkin and tossed it onto the mahogany table. "So we could have the house alone tonight," she said. "The fires nice, let's go in the living room," she said picking up their wineglasses and pushing her chair back. "I can't stay tonight," he said following her into the living room. He watched her place the wineglasses on the coffee table. "Why?" she said taking a seat on the rug in front of the fireplace. "I have to work tomorrow." "That's tomorrow Skeeter, you have all night," she said patting the floor for him to sit down beside her. "I want to get an early start though," he said reluctantly taking a seat beside her on the rug leaning back and resting his weight on his elbows. "A sudden interest in your new job?" "You might say that." "I'll call your boss for you, don't worry." "It's my job Jan. I don't want you callin' in for me…like I'm a kid or something." Nothing irritated him more than her constantly reminding him that it was her connections that got him the high paying job at the lingerie company. "I was just trying to help, so we could spend the night together." "Not tonight". "What's the matter Skeeter? I had Ilona make a special dinner for you and gave her the night off. I thought it would be a good night to try what you said you did when you and Tiffany were together." "What? What ya talkin' about?" he snapped feeling guilty over his secret reunion with his wife Tiffany. He knew Tiffany had probably already tried to call him. She wanted to make dinner for them in his apartment tonight. "I remember you bragging about how you did it in every room with her one night. This is a big house. I'm ready to take on the challenge," she said knowing that it would bother her until she knew she had outscored his estranged wife in that territory. "I was just kidding and besides that was a mobile home," he said glancing at his watch and realizing he was already over an hour late going home. "No you weren't kidding Skeeter Diamond. You were mad at me because I had to work when you told me that," she said smiling knowingly. "I shouldn't have said that." "Well, you did and I can't live knowing that another woman outscored me", she said sitting forward and pulling off her sweater. "I'm kinda' full," he said rubbing his stomach. He knew he had to leave soon to get home to Tiffany or he wouldn't have a chance with their reunion. They had just agreed to work on their relationship and their honesty with each other. "Let's work off the calories then," she said starting to unzip her skirt. "Not tonight Jan. I'm not up to every room tonight," he said pretending to yawn as he watched her pull off her velvet skirt and toss it on a chair beside the fireplace. "Well, we could start in here tonight", she said leaning back seductively in the new lingerie he had given her. "You like the new line?" he asked pleased to see that she had finally worn something he gave her. "You like the model?" she asked tugging on his sleeve. "You look great Baby," he said unbuttoning his shirt. "One room, a house to go", she said watching him throw his shirt at the chair beside the sofa. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
