Chinatown is addictive. On a first visit to Canal Street in Chinatown, you can see a person's eyes light up and you know they'll be coming back. It's fun, bustling and you can have a lot of fun shopping on a very limited budget.
Top left picture you see the Canal Street Subway station. As soon as you get off the train, you're in the middle of it.
Top right picture you see brisk telephone sales business from a push cart on the corner of Canal and Broadway. Telephones for $10 to $30 dollars.
Center right picture you see Canal Street and Plastic Land to the left. This store isn't the plastic junk you might imagine. In here you'll find stuff you never imagined; then you feel you might not be able to live without it now that you've seen it.
Bottom right picture is the corner of Broadway and Canal. Here' s where you'll find perfume and handbags at rock bottom prices. Remember a lot of the merchandise is knock-offs but it's very believable.
