Thursday November 9th, 2000 "Live with you?" Tiffany asked Laney smiling at the young woman's quick generosity. "Sure. I have this big apartment on the Upper East Side. I could use a roommate. That would be totally cool," Laney said taking a big bite of her pasta that the waitress had just brought to their table in the trendy restaurant where the two women were dining. "You live alone?" Tiffany asked wondering how often Stanley Morgan came by to visit his pretty, young girlfriend. She really needed to move from Amir's apartment and this was the most interesting offer she had ever received. The only problem was that Laney's older, wealthy boyfriend Stanley had just tried to seduce her in his limo the other afternoon. "Yeah". "How many bedrooms do you have?" "Two, you could have your own bedroom." "Oh that's so sweet of you Laney. I don't know though. I probably should get a job first though. I need to be able to pay rent," Tiffany said. "What happened to your job? I mean if you don't mind me asking?" "Honestly?" "Sure. You can tell me." "Jan Morgan," Tiffany said watching her face for a reaction. She and Laney had never discussed Stanley's daughter and she wasn't certain what kind of relationship they had. Tiffany knew that Laney was younger than Jan. "Oh please, that snake! What did she do?" "You don't like her either?" "No. She's so mean. I mean she thinks I don't know nothing. She's a jealous mean woman," Laney said as her eyes narrowed. "Oh. I didn't know she had given you problems too," Tiffany said feeling an instant comradeship with the young woman. "Are you kidding. Like she hates me cause of Stanley." "I bet she's jealous of you," Tiffany said thinking how jealous Jan must be of a pretty, young, blonde woman with large implants. "Yeah. Why does she hate you?" "She's always hated me because of Amir." "Yeah like I can see that happening. She works for Amir and she wants more than that from him, right?" "Yeah". "Did you and Amir have anything going on?" "Well, I like Amir", Tiffany answered trying to avoid Laney's eyes. "Oh. I can see it! You two are getting it on! You really do like him don't you? I see it on your face," Laney said. "He's married Laney." "So". "Well I don't want a married man." "You wanna' get married again?" "No". "Then what's wrong with a married man? He's loaded," Laney said as her eyes sparkled thinking of Amir's net worth. "That's not everything you know." "Really?" Laney said laughing. "Well enough of my problems. What about you?" Tiffany asked. "Oh. I did that photo shoot for Playbody. Did you see it?" "No. I'm sorry, but I never read that magazine." "Just happen to have a copy of my picture," she said dropping her fork and starting to pull through her purse next to her on the seat. "There! What ya think?" Laney asked proudly holding up the large photo spread as a wide-eyed group of businessmen were being seated at the next table. CONTINUED TOMORROW. MORE PHOTOS BELOW.
